Career Opportunities

Adventure Bound Books (ABB) occasionally has openings on our team and will accept applications for part-time Bookseller and part-time Bookstore Page positions to support the mission and vision of the bookstore by successfully performing a variety of customer service and retail activities, marketing and promotion activities, and day-to-day bookstore support tasks.  During times that we are not actively seeking to fill a spot on the team, we will accept application materials (resume and letter of interest) to have on file should a position open and the applicant appears to be a good fit for an interview.
Bookseller and Page applicants should possess experience in sales and customer service, strong communication skills, a drive and internal motivation that would allow them to meet sales goals, ability to take initiative, and have a passion for stories and reading. Starting pay is $9-12/hour based on experience and living wage calculations. The bookstore is striving to move all team members towards a living wage as quickly as possible. If applicant is new to the workforce, resume and letter of interest can speak to volunteer, internship, and school-based experience and projects in addition to or in lieu of paid experience.

The full position description and qualifications, as well as instructions for applying, can be found here.  Only questions about the position and application materials submitted to the designated email address indicated in the position description will be considered.  Applicants who do not following instructions will not be considered for the position.
